  • California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform (CANHR) maintains excellent online resources to aid California residents on the rules for qualifying for Medi-Cal and other information for nursing home residents in the state of California
  • The American Elder Care Research Organization (AECRO) publishes an authoritative and up to date guide to over 400 elder care financial assistance programs and ways to save on elder care through their website, PayingForSeniorCare.com.
  • The National Council on Aging operates BenefitsCheckup.org to help seniors and their care givers find information on medical, food, and prescription drug assistance programs.
  • National nonprofit NeedyMeds offers a non-commercial discount drug card and other resources on helping Americans with the cost of prescription drugs, vitamins, and supplements.
