Projected 2024 Basic Veterans Pension, Aid & Attendance & Housebound Maximum Annual Pension Rates

Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs maximum annual pension rate amounts increase on December 1st. This increase is based on Social Security’s Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA). Below we have estimated the new maximum annual pension rate amounts that are to be effective 12/1/23 – 11/30/24. Our figures are based on an estimated 2024 COLA increase of 3.2%, as estimated by The Senior Citizens League, a non-partisan seniors advocacy group, on September 13, 2023.
