Since 2015, Eldercare Resource Planning has worked with thousands of families across the country, helping them navigate Medicaid eligibility and the challenges of planning for long-term care. Over the years, we have built a database of more than 4,000 Medicaid Planning cases. All personally identifiable information is anonymized, allowing us to study trends and patterns while protecting the privacy of the families we serve.
This database gives us a unique perspective on the real-world experiences of Medicaid applicants and their families. Unlike studies based on government statistics, surveys, or publicly available information, our data comes directly from families who are actively seeking Medicaid planning assistance. Without revealing personal information, it provides insight into their financial circumstances, care needs, planning objectives, their challenges, and the strategies they consider when trying to qualify for benefits and preserve assets.
By analyzing this information, we can identify trends and answer questions that are rarely, if ever, addressed in published research. This case history represents a valuable and largely untapped source of information about the Medicaid Planning industry. It allows us to look beyond general statistics and examine what is actually happening with the families navigating this process.
Our goal is to use this information to better understand the needs and challenges of Medicaid applicants and share our findings with families and professionals to give realistic views into Medicaid Planning.
